Jason's biggest passion in life is to help educate and inspire others to foster lasting and profound changes in their lives for greater health, happiness, and fulfillment through food, human connection, mindfulness, and nature.

He currently serves as a self-trained, health supportive private chef, health coach, and health & culinary consultant.

Jason uses his culinary creations and passion for healthy cooking to not only provide nourishment for the human body, but also for the mind and spirit. Through preparation and education, Jason strives to help others gain a greater appreciation for consuming nutrient-dense, whole foods and better recognize the impact they play in long-term health and longevity.

Growing up, Jason always found himself in the kitchen helping out wherever, and however, he could. This, coupled with growing up in a rural area outside of New York City, eventually led Jason to explore the question we should all ask ourselves, "Where does my food come from?" He became so intrigued by the act of growing food, on both a macro and micro level, that he then went on to earn a bachelor's degree from the Pennsylvania State University in Agricultural Science.

At Penn State, Jason was granted the opportunity to study abroad in Tuscany, Italy, to learn about food studies, sustainable food systems, and Italian culture. Living in Florence ignited his passion for preparing seasonal food, treating such ingredients with the utmost respect, and using his culinary creations as a means to story tell and pay respect to the places and people that inspire him.

The desire for culinary travel did not end in Italy however. After graduating college, Jason backpacked for six months in Europe and Central America volunteering on multiple organic farms and homesteads through a program referred to as Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF). These experiences served as a cultural exchange for Jason where he was able to learn about other cultures and the role that food plays within each of those societies, refine his cooking style, as well as grow mentally and spiritually.

As for holistic health, Jason’s passion started at a young age, thanks to his mother, and is now a certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). Jason has dedicated himself to living a healthy lifestyle through his education, integrating healthy and conscious practices to most situations, and makes it the focus of his work. He is a firm believer that every experience in life is a teachable moment to grow, learn, and gain new perspectives. Doing so has brought greater joy, positivity, vitality, and opportunities to his life. Jason puts this energy into his profession and feels that it shows in the lives of the people he is granted the opportunity to work with.

In his free time, Jason loves to venture off into nature to hike, swim, camp, hang out with friends, you name it. He believes that the outdoors is highly therapeutic, serving as medicine for the body, mind, and spirit. It helps keep him grounded, relieve stress, calm the mind, find sparks of creativity, increase longevity, and stay physically active.

No matter where Jason’s career and life takes him, he hopes to continue along the path of empowering and enriching the lives of others.
